My name is Mie Higuchi and I attend Staples High School.
I cannot describe how much I enjoy doing calligraphy and painting. After ten years of studying Japanese calligraphy and after five years of studying Japanese painting, I have advanced my skills and techniques to a higher level. Not only have my art pieces improved, but I have also improved as a person. I've learned that working hard does pay off in the end and I do not regret a single minute of my time spent practicing my art.
